Ozark School District ABC Program Earns
BETTER BEGINNINGS STAR LEVEL 5

Ozark AR. Ozark School District ABC Program announces the achievement of 5 Better Beginnings star level. This achievement showcases the staff’s commitment to providing high-quality child care to children and families in Ozark and was accomplished after many hours of professional development by facility staff.
“We all love what we do- taking care of tiny humans. We are a great team and have all four worked together for over 9 years. We look forward to each day being able to invest in the future generations of our community,“ said ABC teaching staff. “These teachers show up every day to give their best to our youngest Hillbillies. They go above and beyond to ensure each child is seen, loved, and made to feel special. We are so proud of their accomplishment," said Kara Burns, Director.
Better Beginnings is a program of the Arkansas Department of Education Office of Early Childhood focused on giving children the best quality care. The program gives child care providers a star rating, indicating the facility’s quality level. Access to high-quality child care brings economic benefits to communities. It helps working parents be more productive at work and fosters economic development.
“Better Beginnings providers enable the children in their care to be their best selves and discover their highest potential,” said Better Beginnings Program Administrator Kelli Hilburn. “Providers like Ozark School District ABC Program are great partners in our mission to ensure all children in Arkansas have the highest-quality care possible.”
