2024 was the first ever National Civics Bee. This competition brings together sixth, seventh, and eighth graders from across the country, challenging them to deepen their understanding of civics and make positive impacts in their communities. Out of more than 8,000 entries nationwide, Joah emerged as one of the top 50 finalists and went on to place 6th - a tremendous accomplishment!
While in Washington DC he was invited to a private tour of the Capitol. He was also able to visit with Arkansas Representative French Hill, Representative Bruce Westerman, and Arkansas Senator John Boozeman.
