The Ozark School District in collaboration with the City of Ozark is happy to announce that a sidewalk project will begin around June 1st. This project will connect the Ozark Junior High Campus to the round-about located on Hillbilly Drive. This project is made possible through a grant provided through Black Hills Energy. This much needed addition will provide a safe space for individuals to walk to and from the junior high and high school campus. School superintendent Zane Vanderpool states, “We are excited about this opportunity to partner with Black Hills Energy and the City of Ozark. This is a terrific example of how great things can come together to help improve safety for our students at Ozark School District.” The grant award is in the amount of $15,000 and will be applied directly to the cost of the sidewalk project.
