Ozark High School Stock Market Club students read books about economics and finance to the Ozark third grade classrooms today, as part of the national JumpStart Teen Teach-In. October is National Economic Education Month, and the high school students helped teach economic concepts to the younger grades. The high school students then toured the Ozark lock and dam to learn about the economics of our river system. Pictured below are photos of these events.

AC Moncrief spoke to OHS concurrent college credit history students this week in honor of the International Day of Peace. Mr. Moncrief talked about his time serving in the US Peace Corps and worked to help students learn about the importance of peace. Pictured below is Mr. Moncrief with some of the students involved in this event.
Ozark High School junior Ava McCartney helped run the OHS Voter Registration Drive on 9/25/24, registering 34 new voters! Ava has been working with the Teaching for Democracy Alliance, a part of CIRCLE at Tuft’s, to increase civic engagement.
