OJHS will play Tuesday January 14 starting at 4:00 vs Clarksville. Conference games this week! Go Hillbillies! #HPRD

The Ozark School District will be closed on Monday, January 13 due to unsafe travel conditions for students and staff throughout the large rural areas of the district. Please be safe if you have to travel and stay warm!

OJHS and OHS vs Waldron have been reschedule to Saturday, January 11th starting at 4pm @ Waldron - JH GB and Varsity GB, weather permitting. 7th grade Saturday @ Russellville has been cancelled, reschedule TBA.

Due to the widespread weather reports of approaching winter storms, the Ozark School District will be closed on January 9 and January 10, 2025. The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority. Given the uncertainty surrounding the timing and impact of the storm, including potential road hazards and varying bus route lengths and conditions, OSD is announcing these closures in advance to allow families time to make necessary arrangements. These two days will not require make-up days due to the additional instructional minutes built into the 2024-25 school calendar. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of students and staff. Stay safe and warm!

Ozark High School 11th grade student Ava McCartney and social studies teacher Jessica Culver have been selected for the 2025 class of the Albert H. Small Normandy Institute at George Washington University. They were one of only fifteen student-teacher teams selected from the United States for this program. Student-teacher teams will travel to Washington, DC, for sessions at George Washington University from June 18-22, followed by a trip to France from June 22-29, 2025. The students and teachers will study online through Zooms and coursework during the spring 2025 semester, followed by their summer travel. They will visit important sites in DC while also learning on the George Washington campus, followed by in-depth learning experiences in Bayeux, Normandy, and Paris, France. The student-teacher team will also be completing a biography of a World War II soldier and sharing that story with their community and major organizations. The student-teacher team is very excited and honored to begin this program.
