💜Hillbilly Post High School Pep Rally💛
Last Friday, we celebrated 61 of our seniors who signed up for the Hillbilly Post High School Pep Rally.
It was a joy to celebrate ALL the places that our students will go after high school including:
💜 the workforce,
💜 the military, and
💜 college
Congratulations to Chloe Dickerson on winning the drawing TV donated by Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative and Wave Rural Connet and to Madison Howell who received $100 cash.
Class of 2023, remember — once a Hillbilly, always a Hillbilly. No matter where you go or what you do, you will always be a Hillbilly.

OHS seniors tour Arkansas Tech University - Ozark Campus(ATUOC) last week. Students learned about higher education opportunities in their own backyard.
Most of the academic programs at ATUOC are tuition and fee FREE due to the Arkansas Future Grant.

💜Elmore & Lachowsky Win Big 💛
Aliyah Elmore and Gillian Lachowsky, OHS seniors, were awarded Hagan Scholarships to attend college or university. Elmore and Lachowsky are daughters of Scott Elmore and Myca Lachowsky-Elmore.
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help students graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to eight consecutive semesters and provides recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum via free workshops, Schwab brokerage accounts and study abroad.
Hagan Scholars graduating college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship, good for up to four additional semesters in college. Hagan Scholars have attended over 400 colleges and universities located in 48 states.
Financial aid advisement is one of many service areas offered by the Ozark Junior High School and OHS Career Coach program. For more information about career coaching, please contact Melanie Dean at 479-667-4116 or melanie.dean@ozarkhillbillies.org.
